I would like to share a thought about three things that should abide with us for a successful Christ centered life. They are Perseverance, Peace and Purity.

 PERSEVERANCE:

        Perseverance means "persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success". It ultimately means holding on to your faith. When you look back in your life you would remember that the Lord has promised many blessings for you. But you might not have had a day yet which saw the fullness of joy in your life. At these times, remember to focus on the things that God will be pleased in looking at your life and pursue doing them. "For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. Hebrews 10:36". It always have happened this way that the one who endures to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13). So Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). This character not only promises blessing in this world but it leads you to eternal reward. The Lord has promised, "The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne" (Revelation 3:21).

 PEACE:

        Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6). Achieving anything in life, be it The Plans of God in our life or the Fruit of your Labour, the ultimate need in you is the Peace. Peace in you keeps you going towards the target and in the first hand this peace in you is the factor that lets you focus your target. Peter encourages you to grab this peace by casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). His care for you is always intense and it will wipe away all you fears and leaves you with Peace. When Jesus said, "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33), He gives you hope in this tough world. As we persevere to trust in the Lord, we will live in peace. David said, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8). His trust is completely in God alone. But what drives one to trust the Lord and dwell in peace? The answer is evident in this, those who love God's law have great peace; nothing can make them stumble (Psalm 119:165). The Lord has always promises us, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid" (John 14:27).

PURITY:

      God had called us and made us in Purity. But as sin entered this world, now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these (Galatians 5:19-21). Most of this list is publically happening in this world today with rights and permissions. Bible clearly says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death" (Proverbs 16:25). Lean not on your own understanding and look to the decrees of the Lord. The first step in making Purity our life style is the way of the Cross where Jesus, the son of God, gave Himself as the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). David prayed to God saying, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). If we also confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Jesus Christ forgives all our sins when we confess our sins to Him and believe in Him. But how can someone keep their way pure every day? Falling again to the same sin every other day and seeking Jesus for forgiveness is not the solution. The word of God clearly says that a man can keep his ways pure by guarding it according to God's word (Psalm 119:9). This Purity becomes a blessing in your life in leading you closer to God Himself. David said, "Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart" (Psalm 24:3-4). And Jesus made it more clear by saying, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).

Dear Sisters in Christ, this is the promise that you hold today, "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you" (Isaiah 60:1).

The blessed Lord will hold your right hand and walk with you. Immanuel El-Shaddai is His name. Amen, in Jesus name. God bless you.
